Flower viewing in Shanxi province has evolved into a new cultural and tourism industry, integrating sightseeing, entertainment, and experiences to become a significant driver of cultural tourism consumption and economic development.

Cities across the province are creating themed routes and launching cultural products and folk activities, building a spring flower-viewing industry that promotes comprehensive exploration and consumption.

At the "Enjoy Peach Blossoms and Experience Folk Cultures" event in Yuncheng's Wan'an town, a traditional market showcased cultural products alongside performances and blessing activities, enabling visitors to enjoy the blossoms while immersing themselves in folk charm.

As visitor demands continue to evolve, the flower-viewing economy is transitioning toward a "flower viewing + experience" model, creating new development opportunities for rural specialty industries.

Linfen's Anze county is integrating agriculture with cultural tourism and turning local forsythia medicinal herbs into an income source, enabling visitors to stroll through forsythia fields and participate in tea-processing workshops.

As the flower viewing economy and rural tourism boom, Shanxi aims to further enhance its "flower viewing+" consumption scenarios, rapidly developing new industries such as rural homestays, specialty foods, field picking, and intangible cultural heritage crafts.
