In view of the recent severe and complicated situation of the COVID-19 prevention and control, the risk of disease spreading from other provinces to Shanxi has further increased. To resolutely prevent the spread of the epidemic, the following actions are hereby initiated as follows:

1. Since December 4, foreigners who have entered or returned to Shanxi from Xi'an and other cities in medium- and high-risk areas, or cities with case reports but no risk level adjustment should report to your work units and communities (villages) immediately and cooperate with local disease control departments to implement pandemic prevention and control measures.

2. Please pay close attention to the domestic epidemic situation. During the New Year's Day and Spring Festival, it is recommended to celebrate on the spot and not to travel across provinces if it is unnecessary. If you really need to travel across provinces, you should take the initiative to conduct a nucleic acid test after returning to Shanxi and do a 14-day self-health monitoring. Avoid visiting medium and high-risk areas such as Xi'an and cities where the case trajectory is related. If you really need to go, please strictly abide by the epidemic prevention and control regulations.

3. There is an increase in the flow of people on New Year's Day and Spring Festival. Please strengthen self-protection, wear masks, wash hands frequently, ventilate regularly; and please do not gather, cover your face when coughing and sneezing, maintain good hygiene habits such as safe social distance, and take self-health monitoring. If you have fever, dry cough, fatigue, sore throat, decreased smell (taste), diarrhea, etc., please wear a mask to the nearest fever clinic or designated medical institution for treatment and screening.

4. It is hoped that children aged 3-11 and adults over 18, who have not completed the full vaccination, get vaccinated as soon as possible. The booster dose is recommended for those who have completed the vaccination for six months.
