More than 300 special and new products made by 30 companies in North China's Shanxi province made their debut at the 21st Qinghai Investment and Trade Fair for Green Development which was held on July 23-26 in Xining, capital of Northwest China's Qinghai province.

With its theme of "Openness, Cooperation and Green Development", this year's fair was held both online and offline.

Officials said the fair was held at the main venue in Xining and at a branch venue in Delingha, and the event involved more than 40 activities.

The 240-square-meter exhibition area for Shanxi province fully displayed the province's business environment, transformation and development achievements.

It also showcased its key industries and special products in fields of biomedicine, food processing, energy conservation and environmental protection, light industry, modern agriculture, new materials and new generation information technology. 

Apart from exhibitions, there were on-site product road shows, live product broadcasts and cultural performance promotions at the fair. 

Some 116 investment projects in Shanxi in the industries related to new materials, light sector, cultural tourism and health care -- as well as an online exhibition for the upcoming China (Taiyuan) International Energy Industry Expo -- were promoted during the event.
