The Pingyao finance bureau has established three fast track channels for financial guarantees since Pingyao county in North Shanxi province started its battle against the novel coronavirus pneumonia, according to bureau officials. 

The bureau established six working groups, allocated special funds of 8.1 million yuan ($1.15 million) and opened fast track channel for bank-government department funding on Jan 23 in the wake of the outbreak. 

As of Feb 14, the bureau had issued funds of 63.33 million yuan for epidemic prevention, with 55.33 million yuan put in place.

It also issued a number of policies and regulations to ensure that those funds were earmarked. 

In addition, the bureau opened an online office fast track processing channel. 

Officials said that with its big data platform as the carrier, the QR code-scanning registration system is used to track the work by civil servants. 

Government staff members handle affairs online to reduce public gatherings and streamline work during the current epidemic prevention and control period.
