A ceremony marking the completion of the Shanxi Provincial Football Training Center was held in Yangqu county, Shanxi province, June 13. 

Sponsored by the Shanxi Sports Bureau, the training center's address is No 1 Xiandai Avenue in the Yangqu Transformation Industrial Park. The first section of the training center consists of 10 football fields, including three natural lawn pitches, covering a total area of 17.6 hectares. 

The center will host the men's U16 football matches and rugby events of the 2nd National Youth Games, which will be held in Shanxi province this August. 

The center will help alleviate the shortage of urban football facilities, according to the Shanxi Sports Bureau.
