More than 5,000 hiking enthusiasts took part in the third Yangcheng International Mountain Walking Festival which opened in Fengxi Park, Yangcheng county, Shanxi province, on Nov 4.

The hiking route is 10 kilometers long, winding through three local towns – Fengcheng, Xihe and Yanli.

Besides mountain hiking, over 500 cyclists and motorcyclists from across China also toured the county by bike and motorcycle during the event.

A branch event of Beijing International Mountain Walking Festival, the annual event in Yangcheng county has attracted over 30,000 participants from 70 countries since 2016, since the county started promoting tourism in recent years.
